Yes, you can use the WP hook “send_retrieve_password_email” to disable the WP email.

add_filter( 'send_retrieve_password_email', 'send_retrieve_password_email_custom', 10, 3 );

function send_retrieve_password_email_custom( $true, $user_login, $user_data ) {

    return false;
}

You install the code snippet by adding it
to your active theme’s functions.php file
or use the “Code Snippets” Plugin
