    Hi,
can i deactivate the yoast form function in pages and articles for specific users?

    Why?
i have a site with 10 users can publish our articles daily.
Only one of them can able to change seo parameters with our plugin, other user can’t touch your job.

    thank you.

    Hello @syndr0me

    Thanks for reaching out.

If I understand correctly, you don’t want some user profiles to use the Yoast SEO analysis. You can disable this for each profile in WordPress > Users > Profile. Then uncheck the boxes for Disable SEO analysis and Disable readability analysis

Your question is not clear. But the suggestion above will disable the SEO and readability analysis on pages/posts for the user

    Ok perfect.
    I was wondering.
Considering that the user will not be able to use these two functions, if it were possible not to show the yoast tab completely.
I hope it is clearer now.
Thanks a lot for the support.

    Hey @syndr0me,

    Thank you for your reply.

What you can do in this instance, rather than having to go into each user separately, is hide the metabox completely for a specific user role on your site which the writers/editors have (depending on your setup). But this requires custom development. As a heads-up, please have a look at https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/remove_meta_box/. A lot of code examples are listed under the docs.

Please understand though that we can’t give support on custom coding or customization of our plugin, but you are free to adapt our plugin to your needs.

    Good luck!
