• Hello everyone ??

Please may you assist me with some advice? My site runs with WooCommerce and Divi. I also have WordFence installed.

    The problem is:

When I deactivate WordFence, it messes up the entire backend and website in how it displays. Almost like the CSS has become corrupt.
When I deactivate WooCommerce, I am logged out of the site completely and encounter a 505 server error.

Any ideas what on earth could be causing this?

    Thank you very kindly xxx

  • @hetjou I’m not familiar with the specifics of how WordFence works, but you may want to ask this question on their support forum at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordfence/. Somebody may have asked a similar question at some point that may help you out.

Similarly with the WooCommerce 505 error, you may have better luck on the WooCommerce support forum at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/. My guess is there may be another plugin active that expects WooCommerce to be active and is causing an issue when it’s deactivated.

Good luck and hopefully you’re able to find a resolution soon.

    Hi

Don’t worry, this type of error happens when plugins conflict with WordPress.
Follow the steps to rectify the error.
    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Uninstall all the plugins you have installed.
    3. Switch to the default theme.
    4. Again install the plugins you needed.(I hope your website is about furniture’s, don’t worry about uploading the images again. Your previous images will be available in the server, you can find it while uploading the images from your WordPress Dashboard)
Note: Make sure your maintenance mode is active.

It’s a few minutes of work. I hope your website will work good now.

If still didn’t work don’t hesitate to reach back.

    Hello again

Thank you both Ben & Hustler for the advice given. I posted here in the hope that someone else has encountered this problem before. I have reached out to the WordFence support forum now as I believe this is the problem plugin causing all this havoc.

I can deactivate all the plugins on the site without an issue apart from WooCommerce and WordFence. Once I deactivate either of them, the website falls apart. ??

Once more thank you for your time.

    you’re welcome
