Deactivating automatic updates for plugins not possible

Hi everyone,

I want to deactivate the automatic updates for my plugins as WooCommerce had really big issues after a new release. To prevent this I would like to deactivate the automatic updates.

But this isn’t possible actually. I already deleted the phrase in my wp-config.php about the automatic updates but it is still not working. When I try to deactivate it the system says it is deactivated but when you check this on the right side on the plugins page it is showing “automatic updates activated”.

What else do I can do??
