    Hi there.

I no longer need to use custom posts on one of my sites.

I have deleted all the custom posts, but when I deactivate the Custom Post Type UI plugin one of my categories breaks with the error msg…

“There has been a critical error on your website.

Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”

The rest of the site seems fine, just this one cat, when I recactive the plugin the site loads fine

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Impossible for me to say without some sort of details from error logs. I am wondering if maybe the theme is depending on either a post type or taxonomy to exist and be registered, and when deactivating, they’re not registered and the code is throwing an error. You’ll need to review theme files and whatnot.
