deactivating causes a critical error
-
We have both the free and Pro versions installed. We want to deactivate and uninstall both versions as they are no longer needed.
I do not see any option that will let me deactivate and keep SSL/HTTPS.
When I click on deactivate for the free version, the only option presented is “Deactivate and use HTTP” – this is not what we want – we want to keep HTTPS.
When I click on deactivate for the pro version it instantly results in a critical error and crashes the site – front and back end. I am NOT presented with the option to choose HTTP or HTTPS; it just instantly goes to critical error.
What is the most graceful approach to deactivate, uninstall, and retain HTTPS, please?
Here’s our setup:
WordPress 6.4.2
Really Simple SSL 7.2.2
Really Simple SSL pro 4.1.9
