• hello,

i read a lot posts to get jetpack working.

so i found out that i may have to deactivate curl transport to get jetpack work.

i also read that i can easily do this with the plugin core control…

now the problem is. core control says cURL is “not avaiable” so there is no button to disable transport

but at the http related filters stands:
    default value // current value
    use_curl_transport true // true

so my question is how can i diaable curl transport manualy ?
can′t find the right php file

  • I don’t quite get what you want. But it seems that the problem is that your host or webserver does not have cURL installed. That is something that your hosting company only can fix.

the tutorials for jetpack say you have tu deactivate curl transport to get jetpack to work… so when you say my server hasn′t installed curl anyway it should work but it doesn′t so i might have to deactivate curl transport in wordpress? because wordpress thinks it can use curl transport but my server doesn′t have it

Ah, i see. There is a similar thread over at https://freevps.us/thread-4864-page-2.html

ok i think i got it… i tested the same on another webhoster and there it worked fine… the tech support of the actual webhoster told me that everything like curl or fopen is blocked and they won′t unblock that so i think that′s the problem… i will transfer my domain to another webhoster

Good to see that you figured it out!
