I went through the wizard trying to set up plugin on the site but it was causing issues on Facebook feed not appearing. I went to integrations to disable, and it still had the greyed out FB feed which required users to select to opt in first. So I deactivated the entire plugin, but I am seeing the banner and options still appearing. I have totally deleted the plugin now and I still see the cookie banner with options. How do I totally remove this? Is there some delay time?

In addition, I notice that the links on the site are no longer working. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? The plugin is deleted so not sure I understand why.

    Hi @loushun72,

Persistent cache or a CDN might cause this if Complianz files are still being injected. Clearing this should help,

Without Complianz activated, files are no longer injected as is the purpose of WordPress plugins. Please try clearing cache and/or try incognito.

    Hi @loushun72,

I just did a quick check of the website and noticed that Complianz is nowhere to be found in the page source anymore.

Could you confirm whether this has been resolved?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

I had to restore the site to a previous issue to resolve the issue.

I hope to try to plugin again in the future, but it clashed with one of my plugins (Google Analytics Dashboard) which was causing the issue, so will need to figure out how to address before trying to plugin again.

    Thank you.

    Hi @loushun72,

Complianz integrates with both ExactMetrics and MonsterInsights, one of which I assume to be used on your website.

We aren’t currently aware of any compatibility issues between Complianz and these plugins, so feel free to let us know if you have an environment that experiences issues. We’d gladly investigate further.

I’ll mark this as resolved for now, please reach out to us if we can assist any futher.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
