This plug in looks good, but its not what I need at the moment. I’d like to deactivate and delete, but that’s a problem.

I’ve turned off all the options for the plug in.

If I hit deactivate, my site goes into maintenance mode without deactivating the plug-in. I could FTP and remove everything that way but worry that might cause worse problems.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, go to WP Security -> Maintenance tab and make sure the following feature Enable Front-end Lockout is disabled.

    Kind regards.

The following instructions will help you to reset the plugin. Then you should be able to delete the plugin without any issues.

    Thanks.

I wanted to wait until a quiet time to do this, just in case ??

It seems to have worked fine. We can mark this as resolved.
