Deactivating Qtranslate results in blank pages

Hi I have a client working with Qtranslate for a long time now. We need to migrate to WPML for functionalities reasons.

When deactivating Qtranslate the website goes blank. I still have access to Dashboard though. Tried every solution I found: Deactivating it through ftp, deactivating it through DB, resaving permalinks, debugging and fixing some php issues. And still nothing.

They’re working with WP 3.9 (yes qtranslate seems to work well with this version).

I think Qtranslate Importer is not working because of this, when deactivating plugin, website goes blank. I’m on a local development Enviroment but I’m out of options to apply.

Does anybody knows what else should I check?
