Dealing with entry display

    hello,
    i’m running a test site here
    i was wondering:

    Can I display only 1 entry on the front page while at the same time have a page with the last 10 entries + 10 search results by default ?

    I’m looking to do something very minimal and right now i have to display 10 entries on the front page so that the user does not have to struggle with the “next” and “previous” links.

    Have you seen any theme doing tht that i could have a look at ?
