Dealing with Pods – Text Overlapping Hero Image

We have three frontpage hero images built using pods (a top, right, and left).

As things stand, white block of text will re-size and overlap/cover up the background hero image if the screen is re-sized. I’d like to code it to stay just below the hero image instead of automatically expanding itself over the top of the image. I tiny bit of overlap would be nice, so that they still look connected, but I don’t want it to cover.
