dean’s fckeditor plugin

  • I’m having trouble viewing dean’s fckeditor plugin that I downloaded recently.

    I unzipped the download file and placed it in the plugins folder for wordpress. When I went into my plugins in wordpress it was showing and I clicked to activate the plugin. It stated that it was now active but I don’t see any difference on the page where I manage post and pages.

    Is there another step I have to take to make this editor viewable in wordpress

    I located the fck editor in the settings but here is an error I get when I try to update from the default wordpress editor:

    does anyone know how I can solve this.

    I am getting warnings, too. I did an automatic upgrade of a site that’s been running fine for a year or two — so that it is now 2.7.

    I then tried to activate Dean’s FCKeditor and I get the following warnings — and the editor is not working:
