    Hey guys,

I have been finalising the details of a site which I’m building for a friend. It’s all done but I have noticed that my debit card is listed as the main card to use for transactions for the site. I went to update this to my friend’s card details instead and it seems that I have somehow connected my friend’s site to my WordPress.com account and her website is listed there.

I also noticed that there are a few other dead sites listed on WordPress.com and ironically, my current sites, that do matter, are not listed there at all.

At this point, I wanted to ask if anyone might know how I can remove my debit card number from my friend’s website? It’s a WooCommerce site and she may well want to use WooCommerce to print up shipping labels. When that happens, my debit card will be charged instead of hers.

Also, if anyone knows how I could remove the old dead sites from WordPress.com and add my current sites, that would be awesome!

    Thank you so much,

    Kate

    Hi @kateharris!

That’s probably because that site is connected to your WordPress.com account thus using the card you have saved on https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/payment-methods.

To disconnect that blog from your account please go ahead and disconnect Jetpack from the site (so that your friend can use their own WordPress.com account to connect)

Use the opposite for the sites you want to be listed, install Jetpack, and connect them to your account ??

I hope this resolves your issue.
    Thank you!

    Hey @rdeari

Thank you for coming back to me

I had a look at what you said. There are 2 connections. One is a site connection (my friends account) and the other is an account connection (my account). If I select site connection, a warning message pops up warning me not to disconnect. I’m assuming this is right to leave alone as it looks like If I disconnect from it, all the associated plugins which are being powered by Jetpack might break and then break the site?

I also went to create a WordPress.com account for my friend and I’m assuming that I need to Transfer the Domain as opposed to connect the domain. Is that correct?

    Thank you,

    Kate
