• With the last update, the ability to download and install fonts is completely gone. Perhaps there is a conflict with another plugin, but the end result is I had to delete OMGF and reinstall google fonts on my theme the old fashioned way.

    Hi Randy,

Your assumption isn’t correct. The detection mechanism still works the same as it did before. There shouldn’t be a “new reason” to ugprade to Pro.

But I agree, it was a major update, so it could’ve introduced a bug in your configuration (maybe combined with e.g. a caching plugin?)

Anyway, head over to the support forum, if you’re still willing to make it work.

No Google Fonts found to optimize. Empty the Cache Directory to start over. Or Upgrade to OMGF Pro to capture requests throughout the entire HTML document.

This is no longer the same plugin that was ***** to over the years. Understands you want to get paid for the Pro version, but the new plugin just doesn’t work. For 20 attempts on several installations – just the same problem. It doesn’t work at all. It’s a pity that you haven’t updated such a good product and you are destroying its reputation.

I’m working on it, guys. It’s an unfortunate glitch that’s shoving the promo material in your face. I’m aware of it and working on it. No need for the remarks, though. Obviously it’s not my intention to destroy my/it’s reputation.

    Thanks for the update.

30 installations – I uninstalled the plugin everywhere because the text displayed worse with the plugin than without it. Nightmare! Wasted hours!
