Similar to many other complaints, I purchased Elementor years ago and there was a recent credit card charge which I tried to dispute on the day I was charged. Elementor customer service kept hiding behind their TOS. Elementor makes it unclear and ambiguous during purchase that they intentionally enable auto renew on customer accounts without consent which is fraud. Elementor also does not send out emails ahead of time to customers letting them know of an upcoming credit card charge. Fortunately LinkedIn has a long list of Elementor employees I plan on contacting on how they need to correct their policies or at least stop being deceptive.

  • The same happened to me. They are defrauding users with an automatic renewal that is not done by the user. I DID TOURN OFF THIS AUTOMATIC RENEW SINCE MY FIRST PURCHASE. IN MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION IT IS WRITTEN MANUAL RENEW. That’s very bad. They have being doing it in such a way hiding behind their TOS wherever we ask for explanation they just send us back with an arguing of terms and conditions. THAT’S NOT THE POINT. THE POINT IS THAT THEY ARE DEFRAUDING – CHEATING ON. As if they had the power to impose whatever they want to people. That’s very serius and WORDPRESS community should get together against this company. That goes agains WORDPRESS PRINCIPLES.
