Deceptive and misleading

  • The “FREE CHAT PLUGIN” is a lie. After taking your data they will ask you for payment in order to enable the chat on the website.

    After doing all the configurations you will reach at this message: “Chat page feature is available in Starter plan and requires additional verification. Please Upgrade to Starter plan and contact support to unlock this feature.”

    Upon creating a project, a 7-day trial period starts that allows you to test the premium features of Tidio. After it ends, you can decide whether to purchase a paid plan or use a free option. You will not be forced to make a purchase at any time using Tidio.
    The chat page feature you mention is indeed a paid one. It’s a standalone page with the chat widget, hosted on our servers. You don’t need this feature to install the chat widget on your website ( https://help.tidio.com/hc/en-us/articles/5378348485660-Install-Tidio-on-your-Website).
