decimal removed from amount while csv import

    When I tried to import following csv then it removes decimal value from amount

    28/02/2018,Transaction 1 Value Date: 24/02/2018,-50.1
27/02/2018,"Transation 2, 130789",517.19
27/02/2018,Transaction 3 Value Date: 24/02/2018,-9

    and it shows me like

    amount : -501
amount : 51719

    Hi @jaydp

    The CSV import window has a special field for specifying the correct decimal separator. Did you set it to “dot”?

    I already selected decimal as a separator.

    In preview it looks ok but after hitting import it is importing wrong result.

    I can see in your screenshot that you have “comma” selected in the Decimal separator field. This field is on the right below the Date format.

    Please change its value to “dot” and try to import again.
