    Hello,
I’m looking for a way to show decimals only when they are needed. For example when calculation result in summary is 4.0000 I would like to get rid off 0 and show result as 4, but if result is 4.005 then decimals should be shown. When result is 4.05000 only 4.05 should be shown. Is it achievable? I’m using it to calculate CBM

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out,

the plugin doesn’t directly offer an option to display decimal places only when necessary. Currently, it displays results with a fixed number of decimal places as defined in the settings.

To adjust the number of decimals across all results, you can:

    1. Go to the Calculator Settings in the Cost Calculator Builder.
    2. Set the Decimal Places field to the desired value in Currency settings (e.g., 0 for integers or 2 for two decimal places). For details check this [doc]

However, if you’re looking for more flexibility, like conditional decimal places, that functionality may not be available out-of-the-box. It would require additional customization beyond the standard plugin settings, as the documentation suggests a uniform decimal setting for calculations.

    Best regards
