Declaring bootstrap as a dependency?

Hi,

I recently installed the theme in a site, and tried to make a child so we could make make minor tweaks. Had some trouble with getting the functions.php correct.

Got the answer I needed in WordPress StackExchange; the suggestion was make to notify the author of the issue since it sounds like it might be a problem with the plugin.
