Decrease quantity of products via Minicart

Is there any other way in doing making a + and – in the products in the minicart. I’ve tried to do this link but it seems like it’s not working anymore(I mean, it doesnt update the numbers on the cart when using the minus). sorry for my bad english. Hopefully someone can help.
