• Hi,

After my site upgraded to WordPress 5.8.2, I can only access it in recovery mode due to a fatal error with the Deep Core plugin:

    This is the error message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: require_once(/home1/yourpax1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/deepcore/src/admin/navigation/navigation.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/yourpax1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/deepcore/src/admin/class-deep-admin.php on line 114

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home1/yourpax1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/deepcore/src/admin/navigation/navigation.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php73/root/usr/share/pear') in /home1/yourpax1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/deepcore/src/admin/class-deep-admin.php on line 114

Deep Core is on version 2.1.0 so latest with no updates available

Please advise how I can fix this as if I have to change templates I am going to have to redesign my entire site ??

    Thanks!

    Hello @latehouse
Sorry for the inconvenience. This issue has been fixed.
In order to fix this issue on your website, please delete the deepcore plugin files via FTP or hosting control panel and then download the plugin from the following URL and activate it on your website.

    Thanks for quick response!

I added quite a lot of custom CSS – now the plugin is failing I can’t find the area in WordPress I added the CSS to, so assume it was CSS connected to the Deepcore plugin. This is a different area to Appearance > Customize. I am pretty sure I was selecting ‘Deep’ or maybe ‘Deepcore’ (can’t remember now) from the left hand menu near the top then going to a Style/CSS page there.

If I delete the plugin completely will I loose this custom CSS? If so is there a place I can retrieve it from before deleting the plugin?

    Thanks

    @latehouse
If you have added the CSS in Deep -> Options -> Custom CSS they wouldn’t delete.
By deleting the plugin the CSS code will not be deleted.

Nothing happened even after FTP deleting the deepcore folder and reinstalling it. I tried 2 ways: delete then upload and install from wordpress backend as well as delete and copy via FTP.

This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.
