Defalute featured image for category

My autors are not the moste techncally skilled people out there and inserting a featured image has shown to be a hard task for them. They each got their own category to write in and i would now like to ad a defaulte featured image to each category in order for my featured content box for that category not to be empty.

Are there any plugins or such for doing that?
