Default All Posts to Restricted

I would like all posts and pages to be restricted to whatever membership group.
Is there a way to achieve this by default?

There sure is ?? You’ll see that under Posts > Restrict Access and Pages > Restrict Access.
You can select the membership level or role to restrict all to, and that can be overridden on individual pages or posts if needed.
