Default and Classic Screen Views – how to change them?

    Hello.
    I recently migrated my free wordpress.com site to a new .com. On my old site, I used the Default View screen for pages and posts. I’d like to do that with my new site, but only the Classic View is available. (I’ve already checked in the little ‘Screen Options’ tab, and there isn’t a way to choose between the two views.)
    Can someone please tell me how to get the Default View on my new site? Does it have to do with my theme? (My theme is Chic Lite.)

    What do you mean by “default view” vs “classi view”?

    The views look different from each other and offer different things/ways to post.
    I took screenshots of both views (one from each account). Is there a way I could attach them to this thread?

    That’s seriously disappointing. Thanks for letting me know. I just find the Classic View more difficult to navigate because all my posts show up backwards/out of order.

    You can click the column headers to reverse the sort.

    Thank you! I didn’t even bother to try that because, when I used the Classic view on my old wordpress.com site, it wouldn’t adjust. That’s why I liked the Default view so much.
    Clicking the column headers definitely helps.

    Nope. It’s still a problem. I can change the columns to adjust how I want them, but then I leave the page and come back, and they’re back to the way they were. Is there anyway to permanently adjust the columns, like have the newest post up top instead of at the bottom, which seems to be standard?
