• Dear Support Team,

I am reaching out to inquire about the default bots list featured in the NinjaFirewall plugin.

Specifically, I am interested in understanding whether the default bots list provided in the premium WP+ Edition of NinjaFirewall is the same as the one utilized in the free WP Edition.

For reference, the default bots list in question is as follows:

    • acunetix
    • backdoor
    • bandit
    • blackwidow
    • BOT for JCE
    • core-project
    • dts agent
    • emailmagnet
    • exploit
    • extract
    • flood
    • grabber
    • harvest
    • httrack
    • havij
    • hunter
    • indy library
    • LoadTimeBot
    • mfibot
    • Microsoft URL Control
    • Miami Style
    • morfeus
    • nessus
    • NetLyzer
    • pmafind
    • scanner
    • siphon
    • spbot
    • sqlmap
    • survey
    • teleport
    • updown_tester
    • xovibot
    • zgrap
    • zmap

Could you kindly confirm whether this list remains consistent across both versions of the plugin or if there are any discrepancies between them?

Your clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

As a side note for a feature request, it would be great if it was possible to view the blocked bots list in the corresponing “Block suspicious bots/scanners” setting or at least in the contextual help menu where it now says “Rejects some known bots, scanners and various malicious scripts attempting to access your blog.”

    Kind regards,
    Themis Theodoridis
