I’m not sure if I like all these new updates or not, but it seems that the plugin is becoming worse with each one.

Anyway, before I installed one of the newer versions (I can’t remember which one), I was able to choose my default card type for posts. Now, there doesn’t seem to be a setting for default card type and it has to be manually changed every time when creating a new post.

Did you remove that option, or it is just not working anymore?

    Thanks.

This option is not there anymore. Feel free to use another plugin.

What kind of response is that?

Can you explain why you removed it? Also, what’s this setting for?

If you removed the setting, what’s the point of having a “Card Types” option?

The point is to help people with meta box option to set different card types per post.

If you do not need metabox, just use general option page and you’ll be find. Hope you understand why I’m saying this to you.

I’m always willing to improve things but it’s kinda a poor way to ask for help.

    Have a nice day.

But the meta box option already had everything this new update had. I just don’t understand the point of having the “Card Types” field with selectable options. I mean, what are those options for? If it’s there to allow users to select a default card type for posts, it’s not working.

no it’s pretty much the contrary. For example you set photo card on general option but for some reason you need to get summary or summary_lage_image card for some post you can change that.

The point of meta box is to customize the particular post. If you’re out of time just hide it >> meta box settings in menu.
