Default category

  • Is it possible to remove the default category? All of my posts are labeled as “uncategorized”, which is what I want. When I write a new post or edit and old post, it is assigned to my “default” category which I have no option to remove.

    Is there a way to stop posts automatically being assigned to the default category (so that they are all “uncategorized”), or can I remove the default category altogether?
