I am trying to complete my first WordPress site and have got stuck trying setup a contact form so visitors can send me questions or site fault reports.
I am accessing the site and testing the Contact page and enter the required fields and then press Submit button and the only thing that happens is the buttons text changes to Processing.
There is no data in the Comments section and no confirmation email is received.
    Can someone help me please.

This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thank you for that information. I am working my way through this using the Health Check plugin and feel sure I will resolve this problem now.
