default deal, cannot be removed?

Hi I know the developer abandoned this project. I have gone through almost every line of code in the plugins template folder without any luck on how to remove the expired default deal. Can anyone at all help me with this. I have a live site and cannot find anything comparable to this product to use so i’m stuck using it for now.
