I’ve encountered a recurring issue with Elementor on my website where it indicates that the “Default Kit is missing.” Despite attempting to recreate the kit, the error message persists, preventing me from editing my site.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    • Clearing the cache on my browser and WordPress site.
    • Ensuring I have the latest version of Elementor installed.
    • Checking for theme compatibility with Elementor.
    • Attempting to reinstall Elementor.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced this and could offer some guidance on how to fix it. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi

This is a strange one since recreating the kit also does not help. Can you please go to Templates > Saved Templates and then check in “Trash” if there are any Default Kit templates there? If there are then please delete all. Make sure that there are no Default Kit templates in the Saved Templates as well.

Now try to recreate the kit and see if that works – https://elementor.com/help/how-to-fix-default-kit-missing-error/
