Default language doesn't work

  • I’m having trouble with default language.

    On my site I have three languages:
    estonian(which I set to default in settings)
    english
    russian

    In settings I disabled “Detect browser language”.

    I have static home page which I choose estonian “about us” page. But whenever I go to the site it always shows english variation instead of a default estonian one. Only when I click to estonian it remembers settings but only until I clear cookies.

    How do I solve this problem? I want estonian as a default language for first visit.

    I confirm that currently English is your default language. Could you check if it appears as this in Settings->Languages->settings?

    No, as I said default language is set to estonian.

    And even if I try to change it to russian it’s no use, still shows english as default.

    Do you mean that the defaut language is correctly saved on admin side?

    Could you try to de-activate all your plugins except Polylang, switch your theme to Twenty twelve and check if the problem persists?
