Default Language is not pointing to site original URLs.

Make sure you have pretty permalinks enabled and working. https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/using-permalinks/#using-pretty-permalinks
You can try to resave them from WP Dashboard –> Settings –> Permalinks.

??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

I believe a cache plugin could be the reason for this problem.

Hi. I have tried. but even worse is that when I click to ZH after changing from ZH to EN, (meaning EN(default) -> ZH – > EN -> ZH) the URL shows https://siriusharmonicaensemble.com/zh/highlights/title=English/.

And I tried to use this addon: TranslatePress – Language by GET parameter Add-on.
It turns out the URL became : https://siriusharmonicaensemble.com/?lang=en. Which originally it was https://siriusharmonicaensemble.com/ or https://siriusharmonicaensemble.com/en/

We encourage our users to use pretty permalinks (especially the Post name one as it is the most used one).
The plugin you are talking about in your last message (Language by GET parameter Add-on) is a solution for those users who can’t use pretty permalinks.
You shouldn’t use it as it might cause some unexpected problems.

I looked once again over your site and it now looks like it’s now properly working.
