Default links widget, how to remove the wrapper?

    Hi, I am using the WP default links widget on one of my pages, however, I need to remove the

    • that wraps around the entire output code, how do I do this? Currently the output code looks like this: 
      <li id="linkcat-6" class="widget widget_links"><h2 class="widgettitle">Links</h2>

	<ul class='xoxo blogroll'>
</li>
<li><a href="URL.com">description</a></li>

      I want to remove the <li id="linkcat-6" class="widget widget_links">
