    Hello,
    I have begun to work on a new design for a website using Elementor free version (this site is a test, it is not live).
    I use Twenty Seventeen Child theme, installed the Nav Menu plugin and the Header Footer Elementor plugin.
    I am making a header for the site, and trying to make a menu I have, only top items, no sub-menus at this time. But when I drop the default menu in place, I get a vertical menu looking like mobile menu, with the toggle button on top.
    Please assist.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Vishakha,
    Thank you, this has taken care of the problem on desktop.
    There is still both toggle button and the whole menu on mobile. How should we solve that?

    Hello Vera,

    You can try this code instead of the previous one. It will disable the toggle in all the screes:

    .eldropdown-toggle, .elementor-navigation ul .eldropdown-toggle.eltoggled-on, .elementor-menu-toggle {
        display: none;
    }

    Vishakha,
    I am truly not getting through to you, somehow. I shall try again to explain the problem.
    On desktop screen people want to see a FULL MENU and NOT seeing the toggle. You managed to do that with your correction the previous time.
    Now, on the mobile, people are used to SEEING THE TOGGLE BUTTON, but NOT the whole menu.
    I am sure you are as aware of that as I am.
    So why would I want to leave the menu and hide the toggle – on mobile?
    Please, address the issue and tell me how to have the menu open at a click on the toggle button, instead of being seen as if it was desktop.
    Thank you,
    Vera

    OK.
    I have given up on you. And this is what I shall tell others, as well:
    – For weeks I am detailing the problem – but you haven’t bothered to take this seriously and even check it out.
    – For months I have been telling you of this problem, and you’ve done nothing.
    – Then you marked this “Resolved”? When I clearly said it wasn’t?
    – From the beginning, I told this is a RTL problem. I even included it in the tags. So, after 10 months you say that YOU THINK the issue is because it’s RTL? That RTL support is “A GOOD IDEA TO INCLUDE”? Really? Only about a quarter of the world have RTL languages, so yeah, maybe, you could have had this revelation a year ago? Or more?
    Anyway, this haphazard “support” is very disappointing. I know this is the free version, and you have to make a living. It is clear. But if you don’t care for the quality of your work, even the free version, how can you expect to get customers to PAY you?
    I have moved to Max Mega Menu. Though they, too, haven’t yet figured out the RTL side, they, at least, go the distance providing the support, and promptly, too.
    Highly recommended.

    @beitsiach Rule number 1 on the WP forum: Be kind.

    You are venting on someone who has tried to help you for free?

    (@beitsiach)

    1. I was very polite and extremely patient.
    For a very long time.
    I demanded nothing and expected only what anyone would expect – an honest answer of either “this is what you do” or “sorry, no can help”.
    I thought rule #1 was if you said you support – support. Otherwise – be truthful and say you don’t.
    It appears you don’t share honesty being rule #1.
    I wouldn’t have minded at all if they were just honest and said outright – we don’t.
    2. Not venting in the least.
    Listing for people the reasons not to work with someone who has not supported – but pretended to. I did not make them say they would, they decided to, on their own. Taking responsibility for your action is obviously not in your rule book.
    People should know what to expect.
    Don’t know why you jumped here – but as you took the minute to try to morally attack me (there is apparently a rule in your rule book that provides for this) – I hope this answers you.
    Have a good day.

    How if i need to hide the menu and build it on elementor? i think you should remove this menu completely, why you need to deal with all this support, its empty theme but this menu creating problems remove it and that set, or provide a code to hide it completely.

    Thank you for your hard work guys
