Default meta description

  • Is there a way we can set a default meta description currently for all of my stores?
    As the page contains little unique information, it would be nice if we could use a standard formula for this part of the page.

    Unless I overlooked something I don’t think this can be done in an easy way. But Yoast SEO seems to be capable of using a meta description template for custom post types. So doing it trough that plugin should solve it. Not sure if you need the premium version for it.

    One of the most important functions of both Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO Premium is the possibility to add title templates and meta description templates to the homepage, all (custom) post types, all (custom) taxonomies and other pages.
