Default Month not updating

I have the default year set to 2019 and the default month set to “current”, but when I open the calendar it displays March (it is now May). If I manually scroll to May, then it will continue to open to May, but in a new window, it opens in March. I have a separate calendar on the same site with the same settings, and it has the same behavior (i.e. opening in an old month). The site is running version Version 1.5.62 with WP 5.2.
