Okay I fixed a few things: the place the notification email goes and adding organization. However, I’m now looking to change the button from just saying “Field” to “Click to view Field Map”..

    It’s kind of weird.

    Thanks!

Hi, I looked at your page and I think what’s happening is that Divi (your theme) is mucking things up a bit. That icon you see is the icon Divi associates with downloads.

You can see that it comes from the Divi sprite png — see https://www.purplecrayonproject.org/wp-content/themes/Divi/epanel/shortcodes/images/shortcodes-sprite.png and my blog also uses Divi and has the same sprint png, which you can see at https://electionaustin.com/wp-content/themes/Divi/epanel/shortcodes/images/shortcodes-sprite.png

So, it looks like the Divi shortcodes (the pagebuilder stuff) is coming through and mucking with things. That said, I’m not sure how your stuff is all set up, so it could be something you changed…

I just successfully installed & configured Email Before Download 3.4, Download Monitor 3.3.6, Contact Form 7 v4.0.3, and WordPress 4.1, set up to email the links. Everything seems to work, but on that particular setup I’m not using Divi.

You could probably get it to work by not using the Divi pagebuilder for that page, though I’m not certain. Some CSS could probably get rid of the little icon. Where it says Field & Map, I would think those should be the File titles you gave when you uploaded to Download Monitor, but maybe Divi is messing them up?

    Hi kris10haley,

I seem to be running into the same issue with the notification email. I thought it would default to my profile email, but it doesn’t. Can you share how you were able to update the notification email?

    Thank you!

The email address that is used to send notification emails to is the address in the “To:” field in the contact form you added (in Contact Form 7). The “To:” field is in the 2nd section .. it’s the “Mail” section. So, edit your existing contact form that you already made, then scroll down to the 2nd block & the first field is “To:”. Put the email address in that field.
