    Hi there,
is there a hook available to change the default options? Everytime I am adding a slider I have to reset a lot of the options which are available. Therefore it would be nice to be able to override those default options with a filter or action in my functions.php.

Is that possible? If yes where do I find the optionnames and possible values? I do not mind looking into the code, but maybe point me in the right direction.

Apart from that I really like the look of the gallery blocks and especially the lightbox looks and feels great too. Thank you for creating such a nice plugin!

    Best,
    Sascha

    Hello,
If you want to create a preset for the gallery (a gallery with specific settings), you can use the wonderful function of the Gutеnberg editor, like Reusable block. Try to create a gallery with your settings and add to Reusable block, then when adding a new gallery, use the block you have created and just edit the content in it.

    Hi,
I really do not like using reusable block, as they have some restrictions on theme as it seems. But in principal this would be a good idea.

So there is no way I can use a filter and set some custom settings in my functions.php?

    Hello,
Unfortunately, I do not see other ways to create a preset for these blocks.

I feel the topic is exhausted )

i could need changeable default options for the blocks as well ??
don’t see the sense of the download buttons enabled per default… :-/ apart from this, i like your plugin

I would also need default options that would affect all galleries already created. Through Reusable blocks works OK, but once you decide to change a certain parameter and you have many galleries, you need to edit each one. Otherwise it’s a great plugin. well thank you

Try 1.2.0 version. I add Global Preset. Now you can manage all galleries (settings) at the same time by applying the Global Preset to them

Hi! Thank you for your plugin!

    A possible improvement could be:

    1. Different presets for the users to save.
    2. That these different presets (or al least the existing “Global preset”) could be configured (and saved) outside of a concrete post, cause if the user forgets which post is the one where he made the settings, would need to remake the settings in any other post and then save them as Global Preset.

Ah, I don’t understand what this option does: “Scroll down the page for the item you viewed”

Anyway, thank you very much for your work!

    Hello,
The Global Preset is designed so that the user can create one common style for all galleries and, if necessary, in one place at the same time change all the galleries associated with the Global Preset.

The global preset is not associated with any particular post. To see what settings in the Global Preset you need to check Global Preset Priority checkbox (temporarily) and all the settings for current gallery will take values ??from the Global Preset and you can configure (customize) current gallery or click to “Save as Global Preset” and update Global Preset.

In short, to see how the gallery looks in Global settings – activate the Global Preset Priorities (checkbox) for a while, then change some settings (what you really need right now), then disable the Global Preset Priorities and you will get a unique gallery not related to the Global Preset but born with global settings.

“Scroll down the page for the item you viewed” – when you have a lot of pictures (a large list of thumbnails) and the page has a scrollbar, and you opened the lightbox and looked at all the pictures in it (lightbox), then when you close the lightbox, your page will scroll so that the thumbnail of the last viewed photo is in your focus (in the field of view)

    Ok, everything is clear now!

    Thank you very much!

Another question: When an image opens in the lightbox, is its size based on the default WordPress>Settings>Media>Large Size? In that case, could we have an option so show them fullsized?

    Thank you!

The download button gives a link to the original file.
I will think about this option
