Default ORDER BY

    I created a Data Project, and in the Manage Table Options, I am setting the “Default ORDER BY” field to

    startDate desc

    which is a valid field, and it is not working. The rest of the options I set, mostly Manage Columns, are working just fine. I tried this in a couple of different Data Projects and the default sort just does not work.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Mike,

    Please be aware that a default order by defined in Manage Table Options is used to sort your child table, not your parent table. At this time a default order by at parent level is not available. There is a change request for it, so it is on my to do list. I will add it to the project page definition.
