“Default Page Template” shows single event instead of calendar

    Although I’ve used both WordPress and The Events Calendar for years, this is my first time trying to configure the new TEC v.6 templates with a Block Theme.

    I’m finding that when I set the Events template setting to “Default Page Template,” the individual event pages properly render in my theme’s default page template. But the main calendar page doesn’t show the calendar —?it displays the single event page for the most recently added event.

    If I switch to “Default Events Template” then the calendar displays properly… but of course then it looks like the TEC template, and doesn’t match the rest of my theme.

    I should maybe mention that this is a “partial” Block Theme. I’m not using the Site Editor, and I find the HTML-based templates too restrictive, so I’m still using PHP-based templates.
