• Hi there,

I only enabled the plugin for a client to play with it. Before leaving the page I saw that a dialog opened with an ad for https://ici.radio-canada.ca/. That was reason enough for me to remove the plugin again.

From your code, I assume that you didn’t intend bad and rather wanted to provide a good example. However, this could also count as a violation of the plugin guidelines so I would kindly ask you to change it. Maybe you could ask new users if they would like to enable an example.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Sorry for late response. I was away travelling when you sent this in. So, you think it would be better for the dialog to be inactive by default? Am I understanding this correctly?

    Hi Yannick,

    thanks for your reply.

Yes. Knowing that this is just a dummy, I enabled it for my client to allow him to play with it but he wasn’t able to remove it. I haven’t checked that, but it would tell me that something might be off with the UI.

What I do with my plugins is to allow users to choose whether to start with the demo or not rather than let them find out by accident.

    Thanks for considering it.

I have just pushed out an update that makes the plugin inactive by default. I do not understand why your client was not able to deactivate it though.
