Default post category not working

    The default post category is not assigned when writing a post. I’ve tried to change to different categories, also disabled pugins, but no luck so far. I’m stuck, why is this happening?

  • I am having the EXACT same problem with 3.0.1

    Does anyone have a solution?

    3.0.4 and same problem.

    Maybe I can fix this by going in the Database? Anyone have a clue?

    In fact it works, it is just not checked when you compose the post but it is after a save. I was pretty sure the default Uncategorized was checked when composing but now I cannot verify that anymore.
