Default post summary feature Image Not Showing

  • I have the following settings under my Blog Post Defaults Options:

    Blog Post Sidebar Default: Yes, Show
    Blog Post Summary Default: Portrait Image
    Default post summary feature Image (Selected 800×800 image)
    Blog Post Head Content Default: None
    Blog Post Author Box Default: No, Do not Show
    Blog Post Bottom Carousel Default: No, Do not Show

    But my summaries are still showing the pencil background that is there by default for those posts without featured images. (for example: https://www.worldtreeseasons.com/2011/10/)

    Please help!

  • None of my images are showing up in any pages or posts. Can’t get it to work at all.

    Thats odd. I just tested and didn’t get that issue. I see your using caching have you made sure to clear it.

    What version of the theme are you using?

    Theduck, Can you post a link to your site? I would be curious as to what you mean can you give details?

    Yeah, I’ve cleared all my caches (including my browser cache) several times. It doesn’t seem to help. The theme version I’m on is Virtue Premium 3.2.5.

    I’m truly stumped. >.<

    So I just went into the blog posts that don’t have a feature photo and set the default one to be it. Guess that’ll just have to work.

    Hi, I’ve got the same problem since last update to 2.4.3 of the theme virtue. Now I’ve updated to 2.5.4 and the problem is still not solved. I’ve used a default image since about a year and it was working fine till 2.4.3

    It is very important to me this option!

    stgisler, can you post a link?
    Have you made sure everything is updated like the virtue toolkit?

    I can test on my demo and test server the default image is working for me without issue.
