• I created a custom Signup Response Email but the default email continues to be sent. I even unclicked the Send Signup Response Email field and the default one still gets sent.
Also, even in the default one, the placeholder field does not get included.
Placeholder field does get included in the Notification Email either.
    Any help? Thanks.

I’m not quite clear how to answer this one, not sure what exactly you’re trying. If youre using the Email Expansion Kit to define custom emails, it sounds like your template is not configured correctly. Check the template closely to make sure it’s all set up right.

Please ask support questions about premium plugins in the support threads for those plugins, this forum is for the free plugin only, thanks!

Placeholder fields contain only static data, and so are not included in template tags used in templates such as a plugin email. Since the data is static, just put it into the template literally, not as a tag.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I am not using the email expansion kit. Just trying to use the default resources
    Two issues:
    1. I modified the standard Signup Response Email but it still sends the standard email. I created at Thank You page instead of the Same Page and put the short code in the Thank You page. But the standard page still gets sent.
    2. I unchecked the box Send Email Response Email box but one still gets sent to the email of the participant signing up.

There are 2 emails that can be sent when a signup form is submitted. One goes to the person who signed up. The is called the Signup Response Email. A separate email can be sent to the admin, this is the Signup Notification Email. Both can be customized and both have a checkbox to be enabled or disabled.

I think this might be what’s going on, I tested this just now and there’s no problems with it.

Thanks. I think I need to start over. How can I delete and start over. Just uninstall the plugin?
    Thanks.

If you want to reset everything, you need to click on “delete” for the plugin after deactivating. Then reinstall.
