I really like this theme (and blocks), mostly because of the way they share the same color pallet because I like to keep my style consistent. Anyway, I demo’d it for a client but they didn’t like the large Search box. Is there anyway to override it and see the default WordPress Search box? Thank you

PS: I did try disabling the plugin Max Mega Menu but that had no affect on Search.

  • Hi @ericthomson

Thank you for your input on the theme. Unfortunately the search box on GutenBooster is designed specifically that way for the theme and there’s no other way to turn it into a different search unless you customize the theme with your custom css/php/child theme code.

And even if I added that option among other styles, that would be for the upcoming pro version of the theme.

Please don’t get me wrong, I’m only underlining that the search is designed that way because it’s the part of overall design of theme in its core.

    Thanks!

Okay, I will see what I can do with a child theme. Thanks Onur.
