Default settings for all blocks

Thanks for using Otter and reaching out.

We are sorry for the delayed reply and any inconvenience the new update may have caused you. You can change the default color settings for buttons and stars from Otter Global Default settings.

To do this, First, go to pages and create or edit a page. Now go to Otter settings in the top right corner and select the Product review option under the Global defaults section, there you will find the option to change the color settings globally.

You can check the attached screenshots for better understanding, First and
Second.

@kushnamdev So I changed colors of button, ok, but now for stars: even bad reviews like 2/10 stars showing green color? How to change scale of stars like 1-4 Red, 5-7 yellow, 8-10 green.
As you know, this is Global Standard as well as, i think, it was working in old updates. So this sudden change is really weird. Please Help.

Small Update about button colors> Its not working for whole site, so button colors change is not working even after I changed settings. Already cleared cache etc. Please reply fast if possible.

I was able to replicate the behaviour regarding the color of the stars, this seems to be an issue with the latest two versions of the plugin. I’ll report it to our developers, thanks for pointing it out!

However, I can’t replicate the issue about the color of the buttons. Do you set a certain color for the buttons within the Product Review block from the Global Defaults section, add that block on multiple pages and the color of the buttons from that block appears different depending on the page?

About Button color, i tried setting up it to custom blue shade. But even after saving/updating settings, there’s no change on page. Also, no other buttons on site change the color.

we loved old plugin WP Review, but you discontinued it. It was perfect and you should add features like that in otter too.

Another problem is Image size in Product Review box. There should be small thumbnail type image size too, current small image is actually look very big on site.

When You change the color of the button of the product review block from the global default settings option, then these default changes will only be applied to the new blocks that we will add after changing the settings, and the previous product review block buttons will still have the same old color unless you turn On Global default sync option(screenshot).

Another problem is Image size in Product Review box. There should be small thumbnail type image size too

Currently, there is no option to do this but I’ll forward this suggestion to our developer team to see what are their thoughts on this.

About image thumbnails, etc, yes please update it in next version. Previous versions were absolutely fine and old WP review plugin was also good. Just bring those features in Otter.

Update 3 > I tried Global Sync Settings but still it is changing colors of only 1 post not all post from site. Please Guide.

Regarding the color of the buttons, could you please provide us the URL to a page where this issue can be seen?

As for the color of the stars, the current behaviour is the desired one and it was introduced in the latest two versions of the plugin. It could be possible to change the color of the stars depending on the rating using some custom code.
