    Can I use CSS (or something else) to make the lightbox view of an image default to showing the captions (as when clicking the “info” icon /

    If you want the caption to be always enabled by default in the lightbox, simply navigate to Lightbox -> Captions and on “Captions Enabled” select the option “Enabled” shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/KnBU0_ARzGVQ

    Kindly note that for smaller screens (800px and below) such as on mobile devices and some tablets, the captions will not appear by default even when enabled. This was implemented to prevent captions from potentially overlaying the image upon initial opening, particularly if users have lengthy captions. With that said, we do have a workaround designed to override this implementation.

    Kindly add the following code to the “Custom Settings” section as shown in this linked image to your galleries:?{ “lightbox”: { “infoAutoHide”:false } }

    I did that and nothing changed BUT maybe I didn’t make my question clear ??

    I’m looking to have captions always showing by default without clicking the captions icon ?
