Hi Alex, What we would really like is to have it sort by membership level and then last name ascending within each membership level. How would we do that? Thank you!

This should be possible with nested options. When you add sorting options you can nest one under another by dragging the one to be nested under the parent.

Use the executive field as the parent, then A-Z as the secondary.
