Default Star(icon) color

My site background is the same grey you used for a blank rating so no one can see the stars, hearts, trophies,… unless they happen to hover over them.

I have set the “Text Background” to a white so the blank stars are now visible, but I don’t like that box look. Is there a CSS to change the blank icons to a different color?
